Songs from "The Call" - J.A. Creaghan
Songs from "The Call"
Choral Series: Songs from "The Call"
Composer: J.A. Creaghan
Category: Choral music (a cappella)
The verses of The Call rank as one of the greatest collections of sacred literature. It was published anonymously in 1924 as the first book of the Agni Yoga series. It was later thought to be the work of the Russian writer Helena Roerich. British artist and writer Benjamin Creme has stated in Share International magazine that it is in fact the work of Maitreya, the fifth and coming Buddha and World Teacher for the Aquarian Age.
The Call is directed to the heart and relates it to the expanse of the “Heart of Cosmos.” The basic theme is the unity of the Brotherhood of man in the Fatherhood of God. It makes it appeal directly to us with its message of sharing and service for the spiritual regeneration of humanity.
